This is a sample of some of my favorite images I took in 2017. The core of what I do is videography, but I find that searching out and capturing one moment is both a challenge and an incredible reward. Most are tied to the travel I've been blessed to do through my work and with my family. I can't wait to see what I can capture this year!

AT&T Photo Shoot

This was my third shoot with AT&T and we had a blast creating images with them for 3 days in Dallas over the summer. Some of those campaigns are going live now and I'm excited to see how they do.

Brayden Fall 2017

This photo was taken at a pumpkin patch at Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado. It's a shot of my son Brayden with just the sweetest innocent look. It's hard to capture kids' expressions, but this one just worked on every level.

Chicago Skyline

This shot was taken at sunrise in Chicago in March of 2017 in front of the Adler Planetarium. I shot this right before going to one of my favorite companies I shot at all year: Civis Analytics.

Rocky Mountain National Park In Fall

This shot was taken in Rocky Mountain National Park on a hike on the Moraine Park Loop Trail. The leaves were just starting to turn for Fall making for an amazing colorful mix with the blue skies and Rockies in the distance.

Sprague Lake in Fall

This photo was taken at Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. This was one of my favorite hikes because it is easy to do with the family and provides almost instant payoff with the scenery. The fall colors were incredible!

Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is one of the most dynamic structures to photograph in all of Dallas. This image happened to be the perfect capture because I got an airplane, the rising sun and the Texas flag silhouette all in one click.

Downtown Fort Worth

This long exposure is of a really cool bridge in Fort Worth near Downtown. I took a 15 second exposure and I did a series of these to make a timelapse. I even caught the moon in the upper left corner.

Ft. Lauderdale Beach Sunrise

This was a sunrise on Ft. Lauderdale beach. It's particularly beautiful to me because this was taken less than a week after Hurricane Irma hit. Ft. Lauderdale was mostly spared, and it was so awesome to see something beautiful after such devastation.

Fort Myers Beach Pier

Fort Myers Beach is special to me for two reasons. First, I was born in Fort Myers. Second, this is the pier where my parents met. I took this long exposure while on assignment for a shoot with Gartner and gave it to my parents as an anniversary gift.

Rene Training Horses

I met Rene through a non-profit I was doing work with and found out he did horse training on the side. He was gracious enough to allow me to shoot him training his horse and I had to have him do an impromptu portrait because the lighting was gorgeous.

Sara's Sunset

This shot came about after a mission in LA to capture the sunset after a shoot with our team from The Muse. We missed the sun, but the lighting was so perfect I had to capture the moment with Sara.

The Gateway Arch at Dusk

I did a lot of location scouting to find this spot on the other side of the Mississippi River. My photographer buddy Matt and I were in St. Louis on a shoot with MasterCard and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap such an iconic symbol.

Toronto at Night

This image is meaningful in two ways to me. First, the entire city was overcast an hour before this and everything cleared for a magnificent shot. Second, I had to walk about 2 miles with my gear because I didn't have cell service to get my ride share.

Fort Worth Zoo Mandrill

The zoo is a fantastic place to try out new gear. I wanted to play with my Canon 70-200 at the Fort Worth Zoo and this Mandrill made it instantly clear how amazing this lens is.

Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge

This image took some navigating to find my way to the banks of the Mississippi River to capture this historic bridge and the city skyline in the background. I was in town for a shoot with Wells Fargo and couldn't resist the beauty of this shot.
